Choosing A-Level Subjects
Choosing A-Level subjects is an important decision and deserves careful deliberation.
Students should consider the following:
- Do not assume the course will be similar to GCSE. Find out what it involves and the methods by which you will be assessed.
- Do not choose a subject simply because you are good at it now. Choose subjects you find exciting and stimulating. To be successful at sixth form you must be willing to work very hard, so make sure the subjects you choose interest you.
- Aim for subjects which complement each other, but keep your options open.
