Administering Medication

Due to new regulations schools are only permitted to keep and/or administer medication prescribed by a doctor.

Prescribed medication must be in its original packaging and must clearly display the chemist’s label.

All prescribed medication will be kept for the duration of the prescription only. Parents/carers will be required to collect the medication at the end of each school day if the pupil should continue to take the medication at home.

If you wish for us to administer medication during the school day, please complete and return the 'Request for School to Administer Medication' form to school reception.
