2024-2026 GCSE Options

At SFG we strongly believe all children should have the opportunity to study a wide, exciting and challenging curriculum regardless of their starting points and needs so they can grow up to be confident, knowledgeable and articulate adults.

The curriculum decisions our young people make will determine their Post-16 options and beyond. The qualifications they are going to gain at the end of year 11 will be the passport to their future. Hence it is crucial they make the right choices about their KS4 subjects.

We will support Gibberdians to select a combination of subjects that suit them best and that lay the foundations for their future goals. Our booklets will give you a general overview of our KS4 curriculum and outline the content of the courses on offer as well as information on the process of 'How to select options.' We will endeavor to accommodate students' wishes, although we cannot absolutely guarantee this. Rest assured we will always put our young people first in any decisions we make.

We recommend you review our booklets in conjunction with your child's school reports and have discussions with Gibberdians regarding their interests, talents and future goals.

We will support our young people and work closely with them so they can make well informed decisions about their futures.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
