Mr Elliott, Head of Year 11, said:

“Huge congratulations to our Year 11 students on an exceptional set of GCSE results! We are immensely proud of your dedication, resilience and hard work. It has been an absolute privilege to work with you as your Head of Year, and I have loved watching you grow and develop throughout your time at SFG.

“You should be incredibly proud of everything you have achieved. I wish you all the very best as you begin your next chapter. Good luck, Year 11 — go and make us proud!”

Jo Doyle, Headteacher, said:

“We are so proud of all our Year 11 students. Today is about celebrating their achievements and recognising the hard work, perseverance and determination that have brought them to this point.

“Every student has their own story behind their results. Some have achieved grades beyond their expectations, some have overcome significant challenges and others have simply continued to work hard when things were difficult. All those achievements deserve recognition.

“We are also incredibly proud of our staff. The commitment of our teachers and support staff to our young people has been unwavering, and these results are testament to the relationships they build with students and the high expectations they hold for them.

“Most importantly, we want our students to leave SFG knowing that their future is full of possibility. Their GCSE results are one milestone in their journey, not the destination. We wish every student enormous success as they take their next steps.”

The school would like to congratulate every member of the Year 11 cohort on their achievements and recognise the important contribution of families, teachers and support staff in helping students reach this important milestone.

Students will now progress to the next stage of their education, training and future careers, taking with them the knowledge, skills and resilience they have developed during their time at Sir Frederick Gibberd College.
